We had a fabulous response to World Book . Staff, parents and children all came together to enjoy a great day sharing their favourite stories, creating wonderful costumes and taking part is activities around the childrens interest.
Reading is a vital part of childrens learning. It allows children develop sound , word and language recognition. when reading begins from an early age its allows children to develop early literacy skills , can help spark their imagination and curiosity.

At Banana Moon we love reading to and with children, and our activities are based around their interests . Involving children while we read books and hearing about their ideas, thoughts and experiences as we read makes learning so much fun!
